A slate table comes apart into a frame, a bed in sections and a set of rails, and around here those pieces go in through the side of the house rather than the front of it. The bungalow arrangement is a short outside flight up to a door part way between floors, then a half flight down to a basement that is already partly above ground, with real windows and decent height.

That landing between the two flights is the whole job. It is where a bed section has to be turned, and its depth decides whether the turn is comfortable or a wrestle. Measuring it is five minutes and it is the most useful thing you can send with a request.
